The new technician blushed furiously. This really wasn’t something she wanted to have seen in her first week. Didn’t the man have any personal modesty?
Megan looked amused, but at least had the grace to stare at a point somewhere over Don’s left shoulder, taking a sudden interest in the wall.
David made a discreet downwards jerk of his head and offered a sympathetic grin at the same time.
Colby smirked. It was the third time this month, after all.
Did the fucking manufacturers design jeans with defective zips these days?

Date: 2007-11-05 09:30 pm (UTC)I should try to write humor again. It's been a while. I got a bunny about Dwayne leaving Colby three red balls in boxes from China. They're carved and hold some sort of fragrant herbs or something and come with instructions not to take more than one out at a time.
Ends up one has the ability to get people so hot they want to have sex. The other compels people to tell the truth. Hijinks ensue as the balls trade hands and odd pairings and uses for the balls proliferate.
I'm not sure what the third ball does yet, but I'm thinking maybe it facilitates memory loss.
A bit too cractastic? I'm not sure if it's sci fi or if the herbs really do have powerful intoxicating effects on people. But the mischief they could cause? Might be fun.
What do you think?
