primeval100 Challenge 86, ‘Tis the Season
Sir James Lester leant back in his chair and surveyed his domain, now thankfully cleared of anything which resembled festive cheer or seasonal paraphernalia.
Cards had been consigned to the recycling, along with the tree Ms Brown had insisted on decorating, aided and abetted by Temple.
The door opened with a bang, propelled by a booted foot, to admit Lyle, in full combat gear. Lester noted the impact of handle against wall and winced.
The soldier advanced on Lester with a grin.
“No mistletoe,” said Lester, smugly.
“Who needs an excuse?” demanded Lyle, claiming his lover’s lips for his own.
